Job Duties: - Monitor fire and security alarm systems utilizing specialized monitoring software and equipment - Handle all telephone calls efficiently and in a professional manner - Notify appropriate contacts or emergency authorities such as Fire Department, Police, Emergency Medical Services in a prompt and efficient manner following strict procedures - Diligently keep required records and files - Prepare and distribute reports internally and to external parties as required - Follow all established procedures, regulations and guidelines - Other related duties as may be assigned
Requirements: - Verbal and written fluency in both English and French - Education: secondary school diploma minimum - Preferred a minimum of 1 year experience in the same or similar role such as 911 Operator/Dispatcher, Customer Service, Representative (CSR), Telephone Operator/Agent, Call Center, Operator/Agent, Answering Service Operator/Agent, etc. - Excellent telephone and communication skills - Advanced computer proficiency with strong data entry/keyboarding skills - Ability to work under pressure - Attention to detail - Ability to stay focused at all times during working hours - Passing criminal record check
Shift Hours: - 12 hour rotating schedule of 4 on and 4 off consisting of 2 shifts @ 7: 00 am to 7: 00 pm and 2 shifts @ 7: 00 pm to 7: 00 am. - Participation in an on-call schedule required. - 24/7 Operation O/T up to 60 hours
Pay Range: $21.00 / hour
Up to $1, 470 weekly with 60 hrs a week
