Savard is hiring Boilermakers for work in St Gabriel, LA for Job #20338.
Job Environment: Work will be performed in industrial settings such as refineries and shops. Conditions may involve working at heights, in confined spaces, and exposure to high heat.
Job Scope/Duties: - Assemble, install, and repair boilers, tanks, and vats - Align structures or plate sections to assemble boiler frame tanks using plumb bobs, levels, wedges, and turnbuckles - Inspect and test boiler systems for leaks or defects - Maintain and repair boiler systems, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers
Requirements: - Must pass pre-employment screening (drug test, E-verify) - Boilermaker certifications or equivalent experience preferred. - Must be able to pass a physical fitness test and perform strenuous tasks - Proper PPE required (steel-toe boots, hard hat, safety glasses, etc.)
Shifts/Hours: Monday-Friday either 7am-3: 30pm or 3: 30pm-11pm
Pay & Experience: Entry-level: $18-$22/hr, 1-2 years of experience Mid to High-level: $25-$30/hr, 3+ years of experience Familiarity with refinery environments Up to 1650 w/50 hrs weekly
