Job Environment: Marathon Plant
Job Scope/Duties: - Safely operate a variety of vehicles including but not limited to: - Heavy-duty pickup trucks for light hauling tasks. - 18-wheel tanker/flatbed trucks for bulk transport of materials. - Straight trucks for the movement of hazardous chemicals and other materials. - Transport materials to and from the facility, adhering to all safety and compliance requirements. - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe operating condition. - Follow established routes and schedules while being flexible to adjust as needed. - Secure loads to ensure safe transport, using appropriate tools and techniques. - Maintain accurate logs of working hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo details in compliance with DOT regulations. - Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws governing the transportation of hazardous materials. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, facility staff, and customers to coordinate schedules and address issues. Respond to emergency situations with a clear understanding of safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous materials.
Work history experience: Must have at least 1 year of experience driving with a CDL class A
Requirements: Must have a valid CDL Class A Must be okay with MVR Up to date Medcard Must have VALID TWIC - Receipt NOT ACCEPTED Must have or be willing to get OSHA Basic DISA Urine, Hair follicle, background, and breath alcohol test Marathon Site Specific will be required Marathon Endorsement is a plus All exposed clothing must be FRC
Shifts/Hours: Monday - Thursday 6: 30 AM - 5: 00 PM Could be expected to work a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. Night shift may be required based on Marathon's production schedule. Up to 60 hours per week
Pay: $22.00 Overtime will be paid over 40, Work week is Monday thru Sunday
Up to $1540 weekly with 60 hours
