Savard is hiring Combo Welders for work in St Gabriel, LA for Job #20339
Job Environment: Work will be conducted in industrial settings such as fabrication shops and refineries. Conditions may include exposure to high heat, confined spaces, and working at heights.
Job Scope/Duties:
- Perform welding using Stick, TIG, MIG, and Fluxcore processes
- Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
- Inspect completed welds for accuracy and quality
- Maintain and repair welded components when necessary
- Adhere to safety protocols and proper welding procedures
Work history experience & Pay:
Entry-level: $25-$30/hr, 1-2 years of experience in welding
Mid to High-level: $32-$36/hr, 3+ years of experience with combo welding (Stick, TIG, MIG, Fluxcore)
Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment screening (E-verify & drug test)
Welding certifications preferred (AWS or equivalent)
Must be able to pass welding tests in all processes (Stick, TIG, MIG, Fluxcore)
Physical fitness required for heavy lifting and working in demanding environments
Proper PPE required (welding helmet, gloves, steel-toe boots, etc.)
Shifts/Hours:
Monday-Friday either 7am-3: 30pm or 3: 30pm-11pm
Pay:
Entry-level: $25-$30/hr, 1-2 years of experience
Mid to High-level: $32-$36/hr, 3+ years of experience
Up to $1980 weekly with 50 hours
