Savard is hiring a Construction Supervisor for work in/ near Baton Rouge, LA for job #19804
Job Scope/Duties:
The Construction Supervisor will work outdoors, overseeing crews of 5-10 workers on various civil construction tasks traveling in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, and Mississippi. The role involves working on road construction sites, parking lot projects, concrete pouring, form carpentry, and epoxy floor sealing.

- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities for structural concrete repairs and secondary containment liner projects.
- Ensure all construction work complies with industry standards and company quality expectations.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones and overall project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions promptly.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular site inspections.
- Liaise with inspectors to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on project progress, budget status, and other key metrics.
- Transport material and equipment to job sites using company vehicle and trailers
Work Experience:
- 2 years of experience as a Construction Supervisor with related experience in one of these environments general construction, carpentry, concrete.
- Excellent understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles.
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and on-site personnel.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Shifts/Hours:
Monday - Friday 7: 00 AM - 5: 00 PM
Weekends as needed
Pay:
$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Up to 2187 weekly w/55 hours
