Savard is hiring a Crane Operator that has API Certification for work in/near Belle Chasse, LA for Job # 20499.
Job Scope/ Duties:
Operates equipment under general supervision. Manipulates or depresses cane controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions. Maintains preventive maintenance program on all cranes. Lifts, positions and places machinery, equipment or other large objects in Manufacturing yard. Ensures that the necessary safety measures are taken for crane operation. Moves levers and pedals to rotate crane on chassis to raise and lower crane boom and to raise and lower load-line.
Work Experience: Must Have API Cert Must have a Twic Card Must have 2 years experience operating Friction Crane- Will need experience in operating a Manitowoc 4100, and a Linkbelt 518 Physical Requirements: Able to climb in and out safely from equipment Must be able to lift at least 50lbs.
Shift: 0700 -7: 00 PM 14 days on and 14 days off
Pay-$28.00 Per hour Up to $1960 w 60 hours/ week
