Overview: Looking for Telecom Techs with good long experience with Cat 5 & 6 Copper and Fiber terminations, splicing and testing.
Job Scope/Duties: - Experienced Telecom Technicians who can install (ISP) Inside Plant and (OSP) Outside Plant cables, terminate, splice, test, troubleshoot Category Copper and Fiber Optic Cables, install wireless, etc. - hang supports pull and install cables inside and underground - Load & Unload materials & tools - must understand and be able to read blueprints
Experience: - Cable Manufacturer and or BISCI Certifications is a plus - OSHA 10/30 Certification is a plus - 1 year of experience as a telecom Technician with Cat 5 and 6 Copper and fiber terminations, splicing, and testing
Physical Requirements: Must be able to pick up and lift 50lbs. Must have a valid drivers license Must be willing to go to off site company projects which could be located in different areas of state.
Shifts/Hours: Monday - Friday 7: 00 AM to 3: 30 PM O/T when we need to finish a job or as required. Must work if needed on Saturday or Emergency call outs.
Pay: $30 - $32 / hr. (Should work become slow at Stennis, you will be shifted to off site company projects and your pay scale will be reduced to $19-$25 based on experience.
Up to $1, 280 a week with 40 hours
