Savard is hiring Heavy Equipment Operator near Kenner, LA for job # 18134
Job Scope/Duties: Operating machinery around ground personnel Operating machinery in tight areas Grade areas (Blue Top / Finish grade) without GPS Excavate, distribute, and level material, earth, or terrain. Material Handling Preventive Maintenance Equipment inspections and damage reporting Greasing Fueling Attend jobsite safety meetings
Experience: Must have 2 years experience as a heavy equipment operator, operating Bulldozers, Excavators, Skid Steers, Front-end loaders, Backhoes, Tractors and Forklifts Must have experience with trenching, digging utilities, earth work, shaping levees and demolition
Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Team player with a positive attitude Pass Pre-employment Assessments (includes BGC, drug test, & physical) Punctual and reliable Driver s license TWIC card steel toe work boots reliable transportation ability to work in all weather
Shifts/Hours: M-F 6: 30 am - 4: 00 pm some weekends 45-50 hrs per week
Pay $26.00-$28.00 DOE up to $1540 weekly with 50 hours
