SAVARD is hiring Shop Mechanics in Beaumont, TX for Job #10305.
Job Scope/Duties: Will be assembling and modifying equipment in all air conditioning, refrigeration, heating, ventilation, process refrigeration and refrigerant retrofit systems. This position will require candidates to be precise and focused on daily task. Candidates will be required to display mechanical aptitude. - Must be Mechanically inclined - Use Basic Hand tools
Work experience required: - Must have 1 year of Shop Mechanic experience in a manufacturing/assembly setting (not auto mechanic) - HVAC assembly preferred - Carpentry experience is a plus - HVAC and electrical knowledge is a HUGE plus - Welding/braising experience is a plus
Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit to stand extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs.
Other Requirements: - Must be able to pass a drug & alcohol screen, background check and audiogram - Must own basic hand tools - Valid ID -Resume EE or Savard generated
Shifts/Hours: Monday - Friday 7: 00 am - 4: 00 pm OT is required based on work load 50 hours max
Pay: $20- $28.00 per hour DOE
Benefits offered: Health Insurance (eligible after 90 days)
