Savard is hiring Forklift Mechanic for work in/near Hattiesburg, MS for Job #20064
Job Scope/Duties: - Perform diagnostics - Identify and troubleshoot problem areas and be able to recommend or perform necessary repairs. - Mechanic repairs on forklifts. - Examine machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose sources of trouble. Dismantle machines and reassemble if necessary. - Replace broken or worn-out parts and work with procurement to purchase parts - Diagnose malfunctions, inspect parts and systems, adjust wheels, check batteries, oil and filter change - Operate/ test drive vehicles serviced to make sure it is functioning properly - Make all necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation - Maintain a clean and safe work environment always following all safety guidelines and proper use of PPE - Perform miscellaneous duties as directed
Work experience required: Must have 1+ yrs. Experience as a Forklift mechanic.
Requirements: - Drug Screen
Shifts/Hours: Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm or 8am to 5pm Must be able to work overtime if offered and must be able to work on the weekends if needed.
Pay: $18-20.00+ DOE Up to $800 w/ 40 hours
