Job Environment: Pre-cast concrete yard
Job Scope/Duties: We are hiring a Product Inspector to join our team at our precast concrete yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all precast concrete products meet the highest standards of quality and comply with all relevant specifications and drawings. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong basic math skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
- Inspect precast concrete products for defects and compliance with specifications.
- Inspect raw materials for compliance with project requirements. - Perform concrete tests, including slump, compressive strength, and air content, according to ASTM and other relevant standards. - Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and other technical documents. - Use tape measures and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. - Document inspection results and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. - Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations regarding concrete production. - Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and inspection processes.
Work history experience: 1 year of product inspection experience - Ability to read and interpret tape measures, blueprints, and shop drawings.
- Basic math skills.
Requirements: Drug Screen Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in an outdoor environment with varying weather conditions. PCI/ NPCA and ACI certification (Preferred)
Shifts/Hours: Monday - Friday 7AM - 5PM
Pay: $22 - $25 (OK TO RS on Pay) Up to $1750 w 60 hours/ week
