Job Description

Technical Writer, Nuclear $2280+ WEEKLY

Key Requirements:
  • Synthesizing complex engineering data (drawings, schematics, BOMs, specs) into accurate, accessible written content
  • Collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across all deliverables
  • Creating and editing illustrations using CAD models or technical photography
  • Preparing documents for customer submission, tracking revisions, and incorporating feedback
  • Maintaining organized document archives and ensuring compliance with client standards and customer requirements
  • Supporting proposals with documentation estimates and contributing to continuous process improvement
What We’re Looking For:
  • An educational background in Engineering, Robotics or a related discipline
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Technical Writer in the nuclear industry or a similarly regulated technical field
  • Strong technical communication skills, with the ability to interview SMEs and translate technical concepts into user-friendly documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and control logic
  • Familiarity with nuclear plant operations, maintenance procedures, tooling standards, and regulatory terminology
