Savard is hiring Header Welders for work in Catoosa, OK for Job #18713
Job description: A Header welder completes metal projects that match their clients' specifications. They choose materials, select gas ratios, and make various cuts and welds. MIG welders also interpret blueprints, follow safety protocols, and assist in the maintenance of their shop's inventory and cleanliness. Ability to maintain less than 5% rejection on weld repair rate Ability to maintain less than 1% rejection on header fit up rejection rate Ability to fit up all aspects of a header Ability to be proficient in cutting processes (carbon arc, plasma cutter) Ability to be proficient in repairing failed weld joints Ability to read weld procedures for required parameters and use them accordingly ability to read prints for weld procedures, weld sizes, and dimensions Knowledge of rigging and operation of overhead crane
Experience Required: 3 years of welding experience (Experience in at least 3 welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW, SAW) Header welder experience required Air Cooled Heat Exchanger experience: 3 years (Required)
Other experience required; 10 panel lab Quick background Respirator fit test Pre employ physical Resume EE Or Savard generated Welding test
Shift: Night shift-Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day Weekends as needed up to 50 hours per week
Pay: $27.00 to $32.00 per DOE Up to $1760 weekly with 50 hrs a week.
