We are currently seeking experienced AZ Drivers to join a leading steel solutions company with a long-standing reputation for quality, safety, and customer service. Drivers will be responsible for local and regional deliveries throughout Ontario with no overnight travel required. Key Responsibilities
Operate AZ tractor-trailers safely and efficiently
Transport structural and reinforcing steel to customer locations throughout Ontario
Secure, tarp, and inspect loads to ensure safe transportation
Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections
Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance concerns
Maintain accurate driver logs and transportation documentation
Follow all transportation, safety, and company policies
Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
Qualifications
Valid AZ Driver's License
MUST be able to drive manual/automatic
Valid Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
Strong understanding of safe driving practices
Ability to complete required transportation documentation
Clean driving record and ability to pass all pre-employment requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Previous flatbed trailer experience
Experience hauling structural or reinforcing steel
Experience working within an industrial environment
Machine operation experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to secure and tarp loads
Ability to climb on trailers and equipment safely
Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and walking
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to perform vehicle inspections and safety checks
