Process vendor invoices, monitor plant expense reports, and reconcile accounts for parts, materials, and facility operations
Collect, organize, and prepare local, state, and federal tax data - including sales/use tax on industrial equipment, property taxes, and business licenses
Enter daily financial transactions accurately into the plant's enterprise resource planning (ERP) or accounting software
Perform routine reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank statements, and vendor statements
Gather financial records, invoices, and tax exemption certificates to assist internal and external auditors
High school diploma required
Associate degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred
1-3 years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting software
High attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and solid understanding of basic accounting principles
