We are hiring an Asbestos Abatement Worker to safely remove, handle, and dispose of asbestos-containing materials in compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. Responsibilities include:
Removing asbestos materials using approved abatement methods
Setting up containment areas and negative air systems
Using PPE, respirators, HEPA vacuums, and specialized equipment
Performing cleanup, decontamination, and proper waste disposal
Completing basic documentation and following safety procedures
Qualifications:
Ability to follow safety procedures and work in regulated environments
Willingness to wear PPE and respiratory protection
Physically able to perform manual labor, including lifting, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
