Must have experience as a Cement Finisher in a commercial, civil, or industrial construction environment, be familiar with basic power tools, and follow detailed instructions for the production of concrete products.
Place, spread, and finish concrete in precast forms using hand tools and power tools
Ensure surfaces are finished to the required textures (smooth, broom, exposed aggregate, etc.)
Apply surface treatments such as sealers or hardeners
Strip forms and clean/prep molds for next use
Monitor the curing process and protect fresh concrete surfaces
Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, and specifications
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following company safety procedures
Collaborate with mold setters, concrete pourers, and quality control personnel
Report defects or quality issues to the supervisor immediately
Expansion joint sealing
Use tools such as wheelbarrows, shovels, and concrete mixers to ensure proper consistency
Pour concrete from buckets and mixer trucks during finishing
