Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! We are seeking a skilled and motivated First Cook to join a dynamic kitchen team in a resort setting. This role is responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, supporting kitchen operations, and ensuring consistency in food preparation and presentation. The First Cook works closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to maintain kitchen standards and deliver an excellent dining experience. Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure quality, presentation, and consistency of all dishes
Assist with food preparation and daily kitchen operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Support kitchen team members as needed to ensure efficient service
Communicate effectively with team members and leadership
Qualifications & Experience
2–3 years of kitchen experience
Culinary training preferred
Valid Food Handler Certificate
Strong organizational and communication skills
Professional attitude and appearance
Work Schedule
Approximately 32 hours per week
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Working Conditions
Indoor kitchen environment
Exposure to heat, flames, and kitchen equipment
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Compensation & Benefits
$21.98 per hour
