Job Description

Marine Electrician $1,600+ WEEKLY

Key Requirements:
  • Must have experience in Marine and or Industrial Electrician
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (single-phase and three-phase)
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  •  Experience troubleshooting motors, controls, and distribution systems
  •  Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for field work
  • Marine, shipyard, or heavy industrial experience
  •  Experience with VFDs, PLCs, and automation systems
  •  OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  •  TWIC card (or ability to obtain)
  • Occasional overtime and emergency call-outs required
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems across shops and dock (480V/240V/120V
    systems
  •  Troubleshoot and resolve outages, equipment failures, and power distribution
    issues
  •  Maintain lighting systems, panels, breakers, transformers, and disconnects
  • Maintain electrical components of cranes, forklifts, compressors, welders, and
    shop equipment
  •  Diagnose motor controls, starters, VFDs, and control panel
  •  Assist with installation of new equipment, including wiring and commissioning
  •  Support fabrication shop needs (temporary power, welding machines, etc.)
  • Dock & Marine Operations:
  •  Maintain shore power systems and dock electrical infrastructure
  •  Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues related to vessels while at dock
  •  Ensure safe electrical connections for visiting vessels and job setups

Shifts:
  • Monday-Friday
  • 0700-4:00 PM / Overtime, nights, and weekends as required to support vessel schedules
