Shift Details
12 Day Shift Workers (3-week project – immediate start)
10 Night Shift Workers (Continental Shift – 5 per rotation)
Day Shift
Monday to Friday (Possible Saturday)
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Possible extension to 4:30 PM)
Night Shift (Continental Shift)
6:00 PM – 6:30 AM (Subject to harvest schedule)
2 days on, 2 days off (Continental rotation)
General Labourers will support daily production operations within a fish processing plant. This is a physically active role in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.Experience in fish processing or food manufacturing is preferred but not required — training will be provided. Key ResponsibilitiesDuties may include, but are not limited to:
Handling and sorting raw fish products
Trimming, cutting, filleting, and cleaning fish
Weighing, grading, and packaging seafood products
Operating basic processing equipment and tools
Loading/unloading product on production lines
Palletizing and preparing orders for shipment
Cleaning and sanitizing work areas and equipment
Maintaining food safety and quality control standards
Following all health & safety regulations
Working in cold and wet environments
Supporting team members to meet daily production targets
Requirements
Ability to work full-time hours for the 3-week project
Ability to stand for long periods
Comfortable working in a cold, wet, and fast-paced environment
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Reliable transportation to St. George, NB
Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude
Experience in food production or fish plants is an asset but not necessary
