A Form Carpenter (or formwork carpenter) will specialize in building, erecting, and dismantling the temporary wooden, metal, or plastic molds (forms) used to shape poured concrete on construction sites.
Previous experience in construction, specifically with concrete, is required.
You are responsible,, measuring and cutting materials to precise specifications, ensuring structures are level and secure, and stripping forms after the concrete has cured.
Must know how to read blue prints.
Position, align, and brace forms securely to withstand the pressure of wet concrete, ensuring accuracy.
