We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join a growing manufacturing team producing safety-critical automotive linkage and suspension components for major automobile manufacturers across North America. This role is ideal for an energetic and innovative individual with strong troubleshooting abilities and experience working in heavy industrial environments.The Millwright will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing manufacturing machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations throughout the facility.
Key Responsibilities:Inspect machinery and equipment to identify irregularities and malfunctions
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on manufacturing equipment
Adjust, repair, or replace defective machine parts and components
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and maintenance work orders as assigned
Install and commission new machinery and equipment
Provide maintenance and machine repair support throughout the facility
Perform welding tasks as required
Support plant operations during equipment breakdowns and shutdowns
Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following company safety procedures
Qualifications & Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent required
Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) Trade Certification required
Minimum 3 years of Millwright experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
Previous welding experience required
Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems considered an asset
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting
Must be flexible to work rotating shifts, overtime, and weekends as required
Schedule:Rotating 3-shift schedule including Days, Afternoons, and Midnights
8-hour shifts with a standard 40-hour work week
Overtime frequently available during maintenance, shutdowns, and equipment repairs
Potential for extended shifts during plant maintenance requirements
