We are seeking an experienced and motivated Occupational Health and Safety Manager to oversee daily operations related to employee relations, health and safety compliance, and workforce development within an agriculture, fishing, and/or forestry environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring regulatory compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting operational leadership in a fast-paced setting. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate daily operations and recommend improvements to enhance safety and efficiency. Establish and implement health and safety policies and procedures. Manage training and employee development strategies related to workplace safety and compliance. Motivate and support staff to meet operational and safety objectives. Oversee the analysis of employee data and workforce information. Advise senior management on HR and occupational health and safety matters. Liaise with management, union officials, and HR consultants as required. Evaluate work environments, programs, and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury. Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety legislation and regulations.Education College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years (minimum requirement). Experience: 3 to less than 5 years of relevant occupational health and safety experience, preferably within agriculture, fishing, forestry, manufacturing, or other industrial environments.
