The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for leading pharmacy operations while delivering exceptional patient care and driving business performance. Key Responsibilities
Promote a strong pharmacy presence in the community through health and wellness initiatives and local engagement
Lead, recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate pharmacy staff to ensure efficient operations
Demonstrate strong sales, leadership, and communication skills to drive pharmacy performance
Plan and execute clinics, demos, and events in collaboration with store leadership and wellness teams
Provide professional advice to patients on prescriptions, OTC products, services, and healthy living solutions
Champion subject matter expertise, merchandising excellence, and exceptional pharmacy and patient care
Ensure effective referral processes from front store staff, wellness advisors, and nursing teams
Ensure compliance with all company policies, professional standards, and applicable laws and regulations
Drive and maintain financial growth of the pharmacy
Qualifications and Experience
Licensed Pharmacist eligible to practice in Ontario
Experience with retail pharmacy systems and dispensing procedures (e.g., Nexxsys)
Previous pharmacy management experience preferred
Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills
Strong financial acumen and customer/patient satisfaction orientation
Ability to balance professional pharmacy practice with business operations
