We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team for the second phase of construction at the Amazon Data Center project. The operator will play a critical role in supporting site development, trenching, grading, backfilling, and earthmoving operations while ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines.
Must have experience operating excavators on commercial or industrial construction projects.
Strong knowledge of soil types, trench safety, and excavation best practices.
Must have a valid ID
Operate excavators and related heavy equipment to perform digging, trenching, backfilling, grading, and material handling.
Excavate trenches for utilities, foundations, and underground systems according to blueprints, plans, and site specifications.
Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and other trades to ensure excavation aligns with construction requirements.
Conduct daily pre-operation checks and routine maintenance to ensure equipment is safe and in proper working condition.
Follow all site safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Assist with ground crew activities when not operating equipment to keep project moving efficiently.
Communicate effectively with team members regarding site conditions, hazards, and project progress.
Mus have or be willing to get OSHA 10 (assistance obtaining credentials provided)
