Maintenance Planner Join SAVARD Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! The Maintenance Planner plays a key role in planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment performance, minimal downtime, and efficient resource use. Key Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering Technology or a related field.
3+ years of maintenance planning experience in a manufacturing setting.
Proficiency in CMMS software (SAP preferred).
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, troubleshooting, and PM strategies.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
Flexible to work varied hours, including 8–12-hour shifts, holidays, overtime, and on-call support as required. \
Must be eligible to work in Canada full time
Must pass a background check
Must be reliable with excellent attendance record
Must have reliable transportation

Job Duties:
Champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with OHS regulations and company safety policies.
Coordinate planned maintenance activities to minimize risk and disruption.
Support safety audits, risk assessments, and hazard reporting through Ganong’s Safety system.
Ensure maintenance tasks are executed with appropriate PPE and safety procedures.
Ensure all maintenance activities follow food safety regulations, including GMPs and HACCP principles.
Collaborate with QA and production to maintain clean and compliant equipment conditions.
Promote best practices for food safety within the maintenance team and ensure accurate records of all maintenance work. Planning & Operations
Develop and manage preventive maintenance (PM) programs for facility and production equipment.
Utilize the CMMS system (e.g., SAP) to create daily, weekly, and long-range maintenance schedules.
Plan job scopes, labor needs, spare parts, tools, and safety procedures for all maintenance work.
Review and prioritize incoming work requests and convert them into actionable work orders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to catalog new equipment, update BOMs, and maintain accurate equipment records.
Support continuous improvement through data analysis, KPI tracking (e.g., PM compliance, MTTR), and lean methodologies.
