Job Description

Soldador – $1,410+ Semanales¡Únete a SAVARD Personnel Group – donde tus habilidades son valoradas!
Requisitos Clave:
  • Realizar trabajos de soldadura y fabricación en barcazas, remolcadores y otras embarcaciones marinas.
  • Este puesto requiere experiencia en técnicas de soldadura Flux-core y Stick.
  • Realizar soldadura, cortes y ajustes en estructuras de acero para barcazas y embarcaciones marinas.
  • Realizar reparaciones en cascos, cubiertas, mamparos y otras estructuras de barcazas.
  • Operar de manera segura herramientas manuales, esmeriles, sopletes y equipos de soldadura.
  • Inspeccionar soldaduras terminadas para asegurar precisión, resistencia y cumplimiento con las especificaciones.
  • Apoyar en trabajos generales de fabricación y mantenimiento según sea necesario.
  • Cumplir con todas las normas de seguridad, incluyendo el uso de EPP, protocolos de espacios confinados y prevención de incendios.
  • Colaborar con supervisores y el equipo para completar proyectos a tiempo.
  • Realizar otras tareas asignadas cuando no esté soldando.
  • Debe estar físicamente apto para trabajar en espacios confinados y en condiciones climáticas extremas.
Turnos:
  • Lunes a viernes (fines de semana requeridos según la carga de trabajo)
  • 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Duración:
  • Permanente

Key Requirements:
  • Performing welding and fabrication on barges, tugboats, and other marine vessels.
  • This role requires expertise in Flux-core and Stick welding techniques
  • Perform welding, cutting, and fitting on steel structures for barges and other marine vessels.
  • Conduct repairs on hulls, decks, bulkheads, and other barge structures.
  • Operate hand tools, grinders, torches, and welding equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications.
  • Assist with general fabrication and maintenance duties as needed.
  • Follow all safety policies, including PPE use, confined space protocols, and fire prevention.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew to complete projects on time.
  • Will be assigned other duties when not welding. 
  • Must be physically fit to work in confined spaces and extreme weather conditions

Shifts:
  • Monday - Friday (Weekends required based on workload)
  • 7AM - 5PM

Duration:
  • Permanent
