Tool Control & Distribution ï‚· Issue and receive tools daily using established pick/pull procedures ï‚· Maintain accurate tracking of tools by employee and job number ï‚· Inspect returned tools for damage or service needs ï‚· Ensure high-demand tools are staged and available for scheduled work Inventory & Stock Management ï‚· Maintain organized, labeled tool storage system ï‚· Conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits ï‚· Track consumables (grinding wheels, drill bits, PPE, etc.) ï‚· Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels ï‚· Generate reorder requests and coordinate with purchasing Pick/Pull Operations ï‚· Pull tools and materials based on work orders and job schedules
ï‚· Stage materials in advance of vessel arrival ï‚· Support project managers and foremen with timely tool readiness Asset Protection & Loss Prevention ï‚· Identify missing tools and reconcile discrepancies ï‚· Implement accountability procedures to reduce loss ï‚· Maintain tool check-out logs and documentation Shop Coordination ï‚· Work closely with production supervisors and trades ï‚· Assist in identifying needed specialty tools for upcoming jobs ï‚· Support overtime or weekend mobilizations when required
Required Qualifications ï‚· 2+ years’ experience in a tool room, warehouse, or industrial inventory environment ï‚· Experience with pick/pull, stocking, and inventory tracking ï‚· Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and industrial shop equipment ï‚· Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly ï‚· Strong organizational and time management skills ï‚· Basic computer proficiency (Excel, inventory software, or ERP systems preferred) ï‚· Reliable attendance and punctuality (6:00 AM start required)
Shifts:
ï‚· Monday – Friday ï‚· 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM ï‚· 1-hour unpaid lunch break ï‚· Overtime required based on project workload
